I'm so excited about Spirited Away, that I make the article of character itself. This is kind of rare to me. 1. Chihiro Ogino (Sen) Chihiro is like any lazy bum out there who just want in her comfort zone, but all that change when she entered the spirit world. However, she has a pure heart, full determination and kind to all the creature, whether it is eerie or disgusting. She is a representation of innocent and kindness, and it shows throughout the movie. She also had ability to sense supernatural or danger situation (bad vibe) She also capable of doing acrobatic and athletic, and even beat powerful spell. The unique trait about her is she surpass and exceeding all romance typical love interest by becoming the hero instead to save her beloved from dying. She also face any danger or maybe even death to protect what she cherished most. Her trait is almost like typical shonen hero type, making her one of unique character. 2. As a fan of anime, Hayao Miyazaki is a must known for any of anime fans. I already watch several Ghibli's movie, but there is one movie that surpass the others, despite there are lot Ghibli's movie that is outstanding at their own right terms. That movie is called Spirited Away (also known in Japanese translated Sen and Chihiro Being Spirited Away). Why this movie surpassed the others? Why they gain billion box office, and winning tons of award? At first I also wonder because Ghibli's is always known to make the best animated length feature movie despite the genre and theme. So why is this any different? The answer lie within the content of the movie itself, and I'm about to reveal what is so magic about Spirited Away. There are many reason Spirited Away is the most outstanding, revealing and surpassing the other Ghibli's movie, but let me tell you the synopsis (beware spoiler) of Spirited Away. At first I thought animation is the coolest job around....but it is actually not. It need a lot100x of patient, tolerance, creativity, ideas and deadline. Without it, don't ever dream to do it....Even the payment is little here...

Now come new Internet trend or meme, Gwiyomi Song (Cutie Song) Gwiyomi means cute in Korean and the song is sung by K-pop artist, Hari, with the gesture popularized by another K-pop singer Jung Il Hoon name as gwiyomi player. What I think about this, personally the song isn't bad and it quite release tension, but when heard it many times, and many people of all ages are making it, especially young adult, it making me SICK!!!. It's like we are drown into the world of Teletubbies, Sesame Street or Spongebob Squarepants stuff, it brainwashing your brain. This Internet meme had followed by trillion of people all around the world, even had tutorial of it. I just want to slap anyone doing it, but at the same time, I'm being influence to doing it too...OMG....!!! Please just stop this ridiculous trend....it totally control your mind....

Black sitting on the pole Black and White I've being waiting and eager to watch this from the start Koji Morimoto promote this anime production. I thought it is totally original anime production but actually it is an adaptation from manga 'Tekkon Kinkreet' by Taiyou Matsumoto. After I watch this almost two hours movie, I was moved by the visionary of surrealism and background art that just spectacular. It is like in a dream world surrounded by buildings. At the beginning I thought that they are a bunch of brat kid group who snug around town with the power to fly, but when I watch this, it is a completely different kind of story. I also read many review from fans to just audience and also heard interview from director himself. (I really want the review from Matsumoto-sensei himself, hope I'm lucky to see him one day) And before I review this movie, let me tell a bit about Tekkon Kinkreet in general. Most people think drawing is a talent or skill....but when I realize it, it is just not only of these two terms, but it is actually a projectile of an image in our brain to paper, computer, I-Pad....etc...etc....without we imagine it, it couldn't be possible, even when you doodle or scribble it....the mind tells you which part should be done and how to do it....when there is a problem, the mind will tell you to get help...whether you could or could not do it, it is up to your ego....

This artwork done when I try to use the Paint software (the basic drawing software provided by Window) I just wonder that using MS Paint, people can draw Mona Lisa...and actually I believe its true...art can be from anywhere....even from the basic software...I try to use airbrush technique with marker (I use Window 7 Paint) for the hair and it works....you can do 3D portrait with just MS Paint....but you have to be really patient and make sure you save always as jpeg....the only problem with MS Paint that it cannot be save as work file...I hope in later Window, Paint can upgrade so that it can be save as work file...You know how wonderful this tools are if you know how to use it....I really like the nose....it is so 3D like....

Magical Princess Holy Up... haha...transition.....at first I'm a mage, now I turn into warrior...hehe...(just mumbling) actually....after all experience that happen to me, being a magician and learn from other is good, but sometimes it's tiring to follow everybody shoes....so this time...this determination is I want to fight with all I got and I learn, and face the cruel world with knowledge that I absorb all this while.... This sketches is only done in 2 stages....(which is an improvement....)as I just sketch it bases on my hand and my mind....but got a little reference also..I really love fantasy genre and mostly LOTR...(that was so epic)....this Greek and Norse mythology really fascinated me....but I like also my own Malay Heritage and myth like Hang Tuah, Puteri Pucuk Kelumpang, Puteri Gunung Ledang, folk tales like Tauge Si Anak Ayam...(remind me back of my late grandma, Al-Fatihah)....I will sketch the Malay one soon.......

Amazingly, right now I don't use paper any more to draw....I only use tablet...and when you get use to it, you don't want to let it go....but I still also like traditional way...using pencil and paper, but as government said, being environmental friendly.... Right now my eraser is the eraser tool and Ctrl+Z.....Ctrl+Z is a really convenient shortcut key...

Madoka and Homura Haha...this is the style I already left long long ago...a classic Shoujo sketch style...not so good yet....I'm not really into Yuri....so this artwork is done with half-hearted spirit...this remind me much of Sakura and Tomoyo (got 6 x 6 letters too) even the hairstyle is almost the same.... Maybe reader ask me (pretend there will be reader if any, but I really hope someone this read this) why suddenly fan-art of Puella Magi...well, it kinda remind me back when I used to like Magical Girl Genre, starting Sailormoon (with oblivious have no clue about Yuri genre in it) and then to Cardcaptor Sakura....being a girl in pubescent (so hard to spell) is really mind blowing (blast of youth kind of thing) and like Kyubey said, a powerful emotion energy. At that time, any girl will escape from reality of the world, the one who can find love will feel the flow of love, for those who doesn't, magical girl is escape route...but it is just a temporary medicine. Juubey throwing evil nuts? Weird... I just thought that maybe Juubey could be the opposite of Kyubey. While Kyubey is manipulative, Juubey is otherwise helps people in need...(Really?) Actually if you read Puella Magi Kazumi Magica, Juubey is also Incubator, and he is (I still accept him as male) as manipulative as Kyubey, but after being memories rewritten or brainwash by Umika, he turn good...at least someone cute is helping....I kind of giving Chinanesque look at him (I don't know why, my brain work that way...) Actually Kyubey is remind me of Terriermon of Digimon and Juubey is coincidently match with Umbreon from Pokemon. Are they copying their design? (Nobody knows...) Sorry for the upside down symbol.....I'm too lazy to fix that up...First I thought I want to make it female, a tsundere type...(that's why comes the idea twintail) even though supposedly Kyubey is the twin tail....I should make Juubey wear scarf instead, oh well, what done is done...but I think ...

Ultimate evil Madoka updated Haha...just repair the leg...think the first one too awkward...since I post it here...let me tell you why I do this artwork (reader: do I need to bother this?) haha.... Madoka Kaname is known for her purity and innocent, but tragic happen when she killed in every timeline and become witch....but her last wish is to prevent other magical girls become witches when the time comes....that's how she become Ultimate Madoka also known as Madoka the Goddess, but how about we twisted it some more that in the wish process, she become corrupted and become evil goddess (OMG!!), then she become the ultimate evil that even Puella Magi cannot defeat...(Homura: NOOOOOOOO!!!!) And let see if Kyubey can harvest that energy, or he/she will killed many times?? let see how many body Kyubey have....haha...if Puella Magi story can become more twisted...it will be in history in magical girl anime that bad guys win...evil triumph over good???

Haha...just fanart of Kyubey....well, people like to draw him/her in girl, my view that he is a cute but dangerous, emotionless being that doing his job preserving the heat of universe and prevent entropy. (Whatever Kyubey...) You still the best manipulator...being killed many time but still survive, how many lives do you have?? haha....not really complete yet...I want to add horn and pitchfork, but this will display the bad side of Kyubey. (Is he?) Kyubey: Which girl should be my prey? (imaginative monologue) Ironically, cute boys always do that to girls.
